As one of the fastest-growing fully remote networks globally, we empower professionals to thrive in their freelance careers while working with leading companies around the world.About the ClientOur client is one of the world’s most recognized food and beverage producers, known for its iconic global brands and commitment to quality.About the Role:The Release Train Engineer (RTE) serves as a servant leader and coach for Agile Release Trains (ARTs), enabling value delivery at scale by guiding Agile teams, facilitating key SAFe ceremonies, and aligning execution with strategic business goals. This role is crucial in removing cross-team impediments, fostering Agile maturity, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement across large, complex technology programs.Key Responsibilities:Agile Coaching & Facilitation: Lead key SAFe ceremonies (PI Planning, ART Sync, SoS, etc.), coach teams on Agile/SAFe practices, mentor Scrum Masters, and guide team maturity and OKRs.Program & Risk Management: Oversee Agile program delivery, manage risks and dependencies, align PI objectives with business goals, and track Agile metrics to drive performance.Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Serve as a liaison between teams and leadership, present updates to executives, foster cross-functional collaboration, and translate technical updates for business audiences.Continuous Improvement & SAFe Adoption: Promote Agile adoption, lead retrospectives, identify process/tool improvements, and ensure smooth, value-driven delivery across the organization.Required Skills and Experience:Minimum 15 years in Agile project management, with at least 5 years in leadership roles supporting large-scale Agile/SAFe programs.SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification preferred; Scrum Master certifications (CSM, PSM) highly desirable.Deep expertise in Agile frameworks, especially SAFe.Strong facilitation, organizational, and negotiation skills.Experience guiding large groups of distributed Agile teams.Ability to drive consensus, influence without authority, and navigate complex stakeholder environments.Proficient in Agile tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira) for planning and reporting.Engagement Details:Duration: 6 to 12 monthsCommitment: Full-time, 40 hours per weekLocation: IndiaWorking Hours: 2 hours of overlap with Central Time (up to 10 AM CDT/CST), with the remaining hours aligned to IST
