The institution now seeks an experienced Head of Human Resources to spearhead its next chapter of development.Role Overview: Head of Human ResourcesThis is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for leading and managing comprehensive HR strategies across the IIS Group, while also strengthening the Group's external engagement efforts through collaboration with corporates, philanthropic organizations, and alumnae networks to support institutional advancement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resource Development (HRD) and External EngagementTraining & Development: Design and implement development programs for faculty and staff, focusing on teaching excellence, research innovation, leadership, and professional skill enhancement. Offer ongoing career planning and counseling services.Performance Development & Potential Appraisals: Conduct structured assessments to identify and nurture high-potential employees, aligning career progression with institutional goals.External Networking and Institutional Advancement:Build and maintain strong liaison relationships with corporates, philanthropic organizations, and foundations to enhance institutional visibility and create funding opportunities.Collaborate closely with the Alumnae Association to engage accomplished alumnae for mentorship, partnerships, and fundraising activities.Represent the institution at external forums, conferences, and industry events to foster strategic alliances that support the IIS Group’s mission and vision.Strategic HR Leadership & Institutional DevelopmentStrategic Planning: Develop and execute HR strategies tailored to the higher education sector, supporting the academic and operational goals of the institution.Policy Alignment: Ensure HR policies and practices are fully integrated with the institution’s vision, mission, and academic frameworks.Culture Building: Promote a collaborative, engaged, and high-performance organizational culture across all entities within the Group.Human Resource Management (HRM) FunctionsRecruitment & Talent Acquisition: Oversee recruitment efforts for faculty, administrative, and support staff, innovating hiring processes and strengthening onboarding and retention programs.Compensation & Benefits Management: Conduct salary benchmarking and administer equitable and competitive compensation and benefits programs, including health, retirement, and wellness offerings.Performance Management Systems: Establish and manage transparent appraisal systems to support faculty promotions, tenure decisions, and staff career advancement.Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution: Develop conflict resolution frameworks, address employee grievances proactively, and uphold principles of academic freedom, faculty governance, and workplace ethics.Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with University Grants Commission (UGC) regulations, state labor laws, and institutional policies.
