Sr Sales Executive, Data Security, South Asia Position OverviewReporting to the APAC Vice President of Sales, the Sr Sales Executive, Data Security Solutions will responsible for hands-on strategic account selling to drive sales of the company’s full data security solutions portfolio within the South Asia region to acquire net new business and expand existing enterprise accounts with a mission to optimize profitable revenue growth, client engagement and satisfaction, pipeline development and accurate sales forecast.The South Asia Region includes India (TBC)The successful applicant will create and deploy strategies to develop a pipeline of new business opportunities throughout the designated territories and will be responsible for identifying, engaging, managing, and closing opportunities. This this role is not about just selling more product to the accounts. It is about evolving your team to develop, embrace and execute at the highest level in assigned accounts, selling more strategic and complex solutions.Responsibilities:Strategic Accounts Selling 85% Developing the client engagement strategy, acting as regional expert for Entrust’s Digital security portfolio, including Crypto Security Solutions, PKI, and HSM, bringing competitive knowledge and industry expertise for Entrust solutions.Develop relationships with appropriate decision makers – up to and including C-level contacts in order to influence strategies related to Digital Security Deliver value proposition messaging to prospects within the territories.Listen to and interpret customer requirements, build knowledge of customer challenges and propose technical solutions that directly apply to customer needs; leveraging Technical Sales Consultants and Solution Centre’s of Excellence as needed.Develop strategies to partner with the Account Management Team to grow and expand within existing accounts.Sales Business Development 15% Execute effective business plans and conduct regular reviews to ensure performance against plan and strategic imperatives.Key measures of success include meeting or exceeding targets for sales revenue, sales profit, and improving client satisfaction.Provide competitive account and market intelligence as well as voice of the customer information to product marketing and management and help define market requirements to product marketing in support of future solution road mapping. Required Qualifications: Minimum 10 total years’ experience in quota-carrying IT Enterprise sales, with a minimum of 3 years in IT security, data protection, enterprise solutions domainProven track record of leading, with at least 3 years at a first or second-line level of leadership, sales teams engaging key strategic accounts coupled with a consistent track record of sales target achievement is critical for this role.Ability to effectively combine leadership and individual contributor rolesBachelor’s degree in business or other relevant fieldExperience working with a CRM system, such as .Strong business acumen and financial analysis skills.Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities while meeting deadlines.Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.Excellent organizational and follow up skills.The candidate should be based in India.Regular travelling to responsible territories within South Asia and wider APAC regions and/or trips required by the Company at not less than 50%Preferred Qualifications:Experience of selling cloud or as-a-service based IT solutionsAbility to work cross functionally at both senior and individual contributor levelsExperience in leadership role in a large multinational company highly desirableExperience managing both local & remote team members in a complex matrix environment
