OVERVIEWThis role reports directly to the Associate Director, Technical Services, TransPerfect Life Sciences Solutions. The Technical Project Manager I is responsible for leading system implementation projects for Life Sciences clients, providing mentorship and guidance to the Technical Services client onboarding team, and will be required to meet all client timelines and deliverables, as well as work in conjunction with the Project Management, Business Development, and Development teams. This position could have a Technical focus or Project focus.DESCRIPTIONAssign and oversee Technical Services and Configuration Team members as points of contact for all new and existing clientsRespond to internal requests for new project initiatives; collaborate with various members of the Production and Sales teams to assess the scope of work and produce cost estimatesBe an expert in Trial Interactive features and functionalityWork with the Professional Services and Development teams to recommend new features and functionality to improve the product and reduce manual activitiesServe as the primary point of contact for clients undergoing the onboarding/configuration process Monitor and communicate project progress, ensure strict adherence to deadlines and budgets, and ultimately produce high quality deliverablesOffer recommendations to new clients for improving performance gaps and by utilizing Trial Interactive system capabilities to increase efficiencies and achieve best practice standardsAdvise new clients on the use of Trial Interactive software to best fit their individual needs, based on best practices and client specific use casesLead and mentor junior team membersServe as the secondary point of escalation for issues regarding configurations and related client onboarding, as needed.Represent the Technical Services team as Subject Matter Expert (SME) as requested Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor REQUIRED SKILLSKnowledge of the Trial Interactive product suite, with a concentration in Study Start Up (SSU), Electronic Trial Master File (eTMF), Collaborative Workspace, and Content Management System, among othersKnowledge of clinical development phases and processes Superior written and spoken communication skills in English Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in work experienceMinimum 3 years of experience in system implementation, technology project management, or system configurationExperience creating and delivering client presentations.Experience leading a team or teamsDESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Experience in the Life Sciences industry (pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO experience preferred)Able to multitask in a fast-paced environmentWork well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and culturesBuild relationships with clients and co-workersCan work independently and as part of a teamTake active measures to solve problems and commit to a high level of service Strong knowledge of technology within the industry
