Our client is a fast-growing financial services firm specializing in inclusive advisory, investment banking, and strategic investments across emerging markets.Role Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Team Leader to head our Africa Region business operations and development initiatives. This individual will be responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of our Africa strategy including corporate advisory, investor relationship, fundraising, operations oversight, and regional performance monitoring. The role requires strong cross-functional leadership, cultural sensitivity, and a strategic mindset to manage complex, multi-country projects.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Execution & Leadership:Drive the development and implementation of strategy across target markets.Coordinate all aspects of corporate advisory, fundraising initiatives, and investor engagements.Business Development & Partnerships:Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across different industriesBuild and maintain strong relationships with African financial institutions, development partners, and government stakeholders.Investor Relations & Fundraising:Engage with current and potential investors for the Africa portfolio.Support capital raising initiatives including preparation of investor decks, due diligence material, and market intelligence.Operations Oversight:Oversee end-to-end project delivery, regional partner coordination, and risk managementMonitor KPIs and operational performance; ensure compliance with all local and international regulations.Team & Stakeholder Management:Lead and mentor a cross-functional team supporting the Africa business vertical.Ensure effective communication and alignment across internal teams and external partners.Qualifications & Experience:15 plus years of relevant experience in international business, investor relations, corporate advisory, or operations, with exposure to Africa markets.Background in IB Consulting, deal advisory, MnA, IRStrong leadership and execution capabilities with demonstrated multi-country project management experience.Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.CA, CFA, MBA or equivalent preferred.
