Job Description:UniVisory is seeking a dedicated and compassionate High School Career Counselor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychology and extensive experience working with high school students. This role involves psychometric test analysis, career counseling and helping them navigate the challenges of high school and major selection, and preparing them for post-secondary education and career opportunities.Responsibilities:Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to students to discuss their academic and career goals.Analyze and discuss Psychometric Test with the students and parents. Stay informed about current trends in education, career development, and labor market information.Provide support and resources for students experiencing academic or personal difficulties.Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress.Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Psychology is required; a Master's degree in Counseling or a related field is preferred.3-5 years of experience working with high school students in a counseling or advisory role.Strong understanding of adolescent development and the unique challenges faced by high school students.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff.Proficiency in career assessment tools and techniques.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced educational environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.4o
