Our mission is to make India a viable, long-term sourcing partner by combining on-ground intelligence, supplier vetting, and white-glove customer service.Position OverviewWe’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Success Representative (CSR) to support our North American clients and Indian supplier network. The CSR will serve as the operational bridge—ensuring projects move smoothly from onboarding to fulfillment, and that client and supplier experiences are seamless, professional, and value-driven.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and suppliers, ensuring high-quality communication and support.Support client onboarding, gather requirements, and assist in coordinating supplier discovery and RFQ processes.Monitor project timelines, maintain updated trackers, and follow up with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.Manage daily correspondence with both buyers and Indian manufacturers regarding quotes, samples, production updates, and issues.Help resolve misunderstandings, delays, or communication breakdowns between clients and suppliers.Maintain accurate records in CRM or internal project management tools.Gather client feedback and share insights with the business development and operations teams.Support account managers in generating reports, preparing for client meetings, and identifying upsell opportunities.Ensure India Index’s standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and transparency are upheld in every interaction.Qualifications2+ years of experience in customer service, sourcing, manufacturing support, or account management—preferably in a B2B or export-oriented environment.Strong communication skills (English required – written and verbal).Familiarity with manufacturing/sourcing terminology, supply chain basics, or industrial products is a big plus.Highly organized, responsive, and self-motivated with attention to detail.Proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace, Excel, and CRM/project management software (e.g., FreshWorks, GMass etc. ) Ability to work flexible hours to coordinate with North American time zones.
