Roles and Responsibilities: The job encompasses but is not limited to the following Roles and Responsibilities:Real-time assessment of our business position in the territory (i.e., SWOT analysis, customer needs and expectations, market share, revenue, customer input, competition, etc.)Creation of a solid business plan and on-going activity plan. Create Sales plan and Implement the Sales strategyExecution of all sales processes and strategiesAccurate territory forecasting. Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actionsNeed to manage the existing customers, visit existing clients and develop relationships. Make visits to Solar developers, Solar EPCs, Rooftop System Integrators, Approval bodies and other PSUs to promote ECS PV product range like MC4 connectors, cables and junction boxes Need to develop new customers, OEMs, System Integrators, Machine builders, Solar EPCsParticipate and take complete responsibility of product promotions through exhibitions, seminars, conferences, presentations etc.Liaison with all Government, semi-government bodies to promote ECS PV product range and take necessary product approvals.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networksAchieve the Sales targets and goals set for the Region and develop the Region for the ECS PV product portfolio.Ability to propose realistic technical solutions to meet customer’s requirements.Ability to manage the long sales cycle from initial contact to first order, steps both technical and sales related that need to be addressed one by one.Manage the work of the team, perform the reviews of the team and share timely feedback. Motivate and develop the competencies of the team to achieve their targets.YEARS OF EXPERIENCE/AGE 10-12 years of Industrial Sales Experience in Solar RE segment Sales with significant achievements in developing the market, and achieving sales targets.QUALIFICATIONB.E./B. Tech. – Electrical & ElectronicsTechnicalGood knowledge of the Solar Industry, Technical knowledge of DC Solar, Technical structure of Solar inverters, batteries, connectorsExpertise in Solar PV Sales to Solar EPCs, Solar consultants, and other solar project subcontractorsStrong commercial awareness.Expertise in Key Account Management. Expertise in the development of product approvals from OEMs, PSUs etcExpertise in promoting solar products for Solar projects like Rooftop Solar etc.Knowledge of working with Sales CRM and taking care of reportingBehavioralExcellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skillsCustomer focused and Adept in Customer interfacing skills, able to establish relations with Internal and external stakeholders.Strong organizational skills Strategic Thinking skillsHighly motivated, driven, and result orientedExcellent team management & influencing skills
