Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.About the JobThe HR Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the full spectrum of human resource operations for our remote teams across India and Brazil. This includes recruitment, onboarding, performance management, HR compliance, and employee engagement for a growing freight forwarding and logistics organization.This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented HR professional with proven experience in remote workforce management, especially within international logistics or tech-enabled environments.You will work closely with company leadership, operations, sales, and finance departments to ensure a high-performing, motivated, and well-structured team across multiple time zones.This position is fully remote.Key Responsibilities• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process: job posting, screening, interviews, testing, and offer negotiation• Coordinate remote onboarding and offboarding processes across multiple time zones• Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and compliance with HR policies• Maintain and optimize HR systems for performance tracking, attendance, and feedback• Design and execute performance management processes, KPIs, and periodic evaluations• Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and resource planning• Lead initiatives on employee retention, engagement, and well-being• Ensure compliance with local labor laws (primarily India and Brazil)• Prepare employment contracts and coordinate with legal/accounting teams• Analyze and improve HR metrics related to turnover, hiring time, and productivityRequired Skills & Experience• Minimum 4 years of experience in an HR leadership role (remote, cross-border or logistics industry preferred)• Proven experience in recruiting international talent for sales, operations, and technical teams• Deep understanding of Indian labor laws and exposure to international HR compliance• Strong organizational and documentation skills• Experience using HR tools like Zoho People, BambooHR, Keka, or similar• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal• Ability to work independently, set priorities, and deliver consistent results• Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to manage diverse, multicultural teamsPreferred• Experience working in the logistics or freight forwarding industry• Exposure to U.S. HR compliance or coordination with U.S.-based leadership• Familiarity with global payroll or benefits coordination• Understanding of recruitment for technical/AI-enabled positions• Experience setting up performance management frameworks and OKRs
