You will play a critical role in researching cloud infrastructure threats, misconfigurations, and data exposure risks across AWS, Azure, and GCP. This role focuses on driving research that powers our Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP), Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM), and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) capabilities.You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to build detection logic, security benchmarks, and policy frameworks that reduce organizational risk in cloud-native environments.What You'll Do At CYBLE:Research and model cloud misconfigurations, IAM risks, and data exposures across multi-cloud environmentsDevelop security policies, detection rules, and graph models for posture and entitlement managementInvestigate and simulate attack paths across identities, cloud services, and data flowsCreate research-backed content for DSPM use cases such as sensitive data discovery, access visibility, and data flow mappingContribute to compliance-driven control mappings (e.g., CIS, NIST, ISO, PCI) for CSPM and DSPM modulesCollaborate with engineering to integrate findings into posture engines and cloud integrationsMonitor evolving threats in cloud and data security and publish research advisories or knowledge base articlesWhat You’ll Need:4–7 years of experience in cloud security, red/blue teaming, or threat research with focus on cloud-native environmentsSolid hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP IAM, networking, storage, and monitoring servicesFamiliarity with CSPM, CIEM, CNAPP tools (e.g., Wiz, Orca, Prisma Cloud, Sonrai, Ermetic)In-depth understanding of DSPM principles: data discovery, classification, lineage, risk assessmentProficiency in scripting and automation using Python, BashExperience writing custom detection or policy logic (e.g., Rego, Sigma, YAML, custom DSLs)Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and securing CI/CD pipelines Bonus Points If You Have:Experience with graph-based analysis tools (e.g., Neo4j, PMapper, BloodHound)Exposure to data classification using NLP or ML frameworksKnowledge of data compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA)Certifications: AWS Security Specialty, CCSP, GCP Security Engineer, OSCPWhat We Offer:Opportunity to shape a market-defining CNAPP and DSPM platformWork with cutting-edge tech and a research-driven cultureCompetitive compensation, equity, and benefitsRemote-friendly, flexible work setup If you like working in an inclusive environment, you want to advance your career quickly, and your opinion is valued, look no further than Cyble, Inc.
