Job Summary: The Project Engineer/Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works in alignment with project goals and compliance standards. This role includes resource planning, coordination with cross-functional teams and external vendors, budget preparation, and quality assurance, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of all projects.Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain project baselines; monitor scope, budget, timelines, and quality to ensure successful execution. Prepare submission and working drawings; liaise with local authorities for plan approvals. Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal departments for smooth execution. Lead cost estimation, budget preparation, and project report development. Supervise day-to-day site operations including civil, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and piping works. Conduct regular site inspections for quality assurance and adherence to specifications. Perform technical evaluations and negotiations with vendors; manage procurement processes through SAP. Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and audit requirements (cGMP, USFDA, MHRA, etc.). Facilitate team leadership, manpower planning, and deployment for project activities. Manage preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules in coordination with service teams. Monitor project documentation including contracts, purchase orders, drawings, submittals, and as-built records. Prepare AutoCAD drawings including layout, sectional, elevation, utility, and infrastructure plans (ETP, STP, drainage). Drive continuous improvement and innovation in project execution and engineering practices. Ensure 100% safety compliance and zero-incident work culture within the project premises.Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred) 8–15 years of experience in project execution, including civil and MEP works Proficient in AutoCAD (2012 or above), MS Excel, Word, and ERP Strong knowledge of construction codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance (cGMP, USFDA, MHRA) Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills Proven ability to handle multi-disciplinary teams and vendor coordination Experience in preparing and reviewing BOQs, technical documentation, and budget proposalsDesirable: Experience in pharmaceutical or industrial facility projects
