The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in backend development, specifically with Node.js, and a strong understanding of server-side logic and architecture. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and related frameworks. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Implement robust and efficient APIs for seamless data exchange between the server and client. Design and develop database schemas and models using SQL or NoSQL databases. Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability. Ensure the security and data protection of applications. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality code. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive. Develop and maintain logging & monitoring using GCP and Grafana Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development using Node.js. Proficiency in JavaScript and understanding of asynchronous programming. Experience with frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS. Strong knowledge of database systems like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks. Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
