The ideal candidate will not only have deep technical expertise but also prior experience working within regulated banking or financial systems.You will be instrumental in scaling and securing our Kubernetes environments, automating CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring reliability through strong monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery strategies—all while keeping compliance, security, and system integrity as the top priority.As our DevOps Engineer, you will have these main objectives: Manage and scale Kubernetes environments (Minikube to GKE) in productionAutomate and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and HelmImplement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and HelmSet up robust monitoring, alerting, and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, and GCP LoggingManage secrets and credentials with GCP Secret Manager and/or HashiCorp VaultEnforce security best practices, including IAM configurations, firewall rules, vulnerability scanning (Trivy), TLS/mTLS setupDesign and implement backup and recovery strategies using Velero and GCP snapshotsManage DNS, ingress, and certificate management (Cloud DNS, NGINX Ingress, cert-manager)Ensure infrastructure and deployment processes meet regulatory and compliance standards for banking systemsYou will be a good fit if you: Are aligned with our values of Belief, Accountability & Ownership, Positivity, Execution, and Speed.Have 5+ years of total experience, with prior experience managing production-grade Kubernetes clusters, preferably on GKEHave hands-on expertise in CI/CD automation using GitLab pipelines and HelmPossess a solid understanding of infrastructure scaling, failover strategies, and cost optimizationHave strong familiarity with GCP networking, security, and IAMAre proficient in scripting (Bash, Python, or Go) for automation tasksAre experienced in implementing centralised monitoring and logging pipelinesHave prior experience working with banking or financial systems, with a clear understanding of regulatory, security, and compliance requirementsAre fluent in English, both written and spoken.Our Hiring Process:Our hiring process is designed to be agile.
