Experience Required: 3 to 10 YearsLocation: Pune (Bhosari MIDC)Job Description*Handling complete project for Interior illumination (AC control panel and Displays), and fulfilling the Customer/Specification requirement.Developing of design solution corresponding to the specification requirements using Illumination software (SPEOS).Selection of LEDs as per the Illumination Intensity and X, Y coordinate requirements.Engineering inputs in CAD to corresponding competency fields (Illumination), using Catia 3D software.Verification and tracking of the design regarding function, robustness and manufacturability (Tolerance evaluations, GD&T, FEM, Light simulation, Mould Flow)Space and integration responsible related to the product.Communication of design changes related to the basic concept, VA/VECreating the D-FMEACreation / maintenance of the part history for 2D/3D-Data.Can manage to prepare light measurement reports after measurements.Cost effective Light source (LEDs, Bulbs, etc.), Diffusers, Foils, Material selection as per functional requirement of the product.Content preparation of the mechanical proportion of 3D/2D Design reviewsSupporting of all development activities including conducting CFT review meeting of the mechanical systems on the product levelAnalysis test results and function of prototypes. Finding root causes of deviations and defines necessary design changes.Planning and ensuring the schedule at L2 Level and Controlling the project cost as per the budget.Communication and interaction with Customer (OEM/Teir1) and with suppliers for DFM, and specification requirementsCandidate Profile*Experience and handled all illumination activity with complete Product development lifecycle as per APQP, communication with Customer and Suppliers.Should have basic knowledge of Lighting and Automotive Lighting.Required Competent in measuring control panel using measuring device like camera (Konica Minolta, Techno team, etc).Command on SPEOS/ (illumination) simulation software.Understating of software requirement for illumination.Command on CAD-Programs (e. g. CATIA) 3D & 2D.Competency in LEDs, Plastic technology, Display technology and material selection, LED selection process as per application and functional requirementExperience in Automobile Rotary Knob and Push Button of Radio / A/C Panel Indicator and Feedback illumination.Understanding of Customer various Illumination requirement.Understanding of Homogeneity and tolerance requirement for illumination in Rotary knob and Push Button.Knowledge of light technology, Light Guide design, IMD foil technology, Painting and Laser itching, Pad printing process, spraying process, etc.Knowledge of the specified characteristics of design materials (Diffusers, Foils, Paints, etc) regarding production tolerances, surfaces characteristics, strength, durability, etc.Knowledge: Requirement management and analysis, FMEA, Ansys, Product- and component-test, Quality assurance.Knowledge in light technology, electronics-hardware, circuit connectors, PCB technology, (specially vehicle climate control) and quality.Should have good knowledge to provide resister values, inputs to HW.Additional advantage if competent in soldering LEDS and resistors.Basic knowledge of product data management (PDM)Basic Knowledge in DOORS
