Role Overview: Senior AVP – General AnalyticsAs the Senior AVP of General Analytics, you will lead key initiatives that shape the future of EXL’s business and capabilities. This role is heavily focused on Sales, Business Development, and Capability Development, while ensuring strong client account management.In this capacity, you will also serve as the Delivery Governance Lead, collaborating with a skilled team of consultants, data scientists, and data engineers to address complex business challenges. You will guide project teams in designing and implementing impactful solutions, fostering client adoption, and articulating the significant value delivered through our analytics capabilities.On a typical day, you could be doing one or more of the following:Governance & Compliance: Oversee delivery governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to best practices, quality standards, and client commitments.Delivery Oversight: Monitor project execution, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met while proactively addressing risks and dependencies.Client Engagement & Success: Conduct regular check-ins with client stakeholders to assess satisfaction, identify improvement areas, and align delivery strategies with business goals.Intra-Account Strategy: Work with account heads to identify potential requirements and develop strategies to increase penetration within the organization.Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between senior client leadership and internal delivery teams, ensuring transparency, alignment, and seamless execution.Sales & Business Development: Spearhead the acquisition of new business opportunities by identifying prospects, building relationships, and developing solutions tailored to client needs.GTM Strategy & Growth: Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement go-to-market strategies, positioning the team for scalable growth and deeper client engagement.Capability Development: Partner with delivery teams to build and enhance service capabilities, driving innovation and ensuring readiness for evolving client needs.Collateral Creation: Oversee creation of presentations, excel models & strategic plans for key client meetings & executive level discussionsQualifications:10+ years of experience in analytics service delivery, consulting, business development, and account management, with a focus on B2C and omnichannel retail across customer lifecycle and customer journey.Strong experience in Sales and Business Development, with a demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives, close deals, and manage key client relationships.Hands-on expertise in advanced analytics, solution design, and capability development, driving measurable outcomes that create substantial value for clientsProven leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects on time.Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Master’s degree in Management, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields is preferred. A BA/BS degree from a top-tier institution is also considered.
