You'll be directly impacting how major brands connect with their audiences online.Role OverviewAs a Web Integration Engineer at BrightEdge, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations between our platform and various third-party applications, services, and enterprise systems. You'll work closely with our product team, customer success managers, and directly with clients to create robust, scalable integration solutions that enhance our platform's value and improve customer workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop custom API connectors that integrate BrightEdge with clients' existing systemsBuild and maintain webhooks to enable real-time data synchronization and event-driven processesImplement various data exchange protocols to ensure efficient and secure information transferCreate and maintain documentation for integration processes, APIs, and integration patternsTroubleshoot and resolve integration-related technical issues, ensuring high availability and performanceCollaborate with customers to understand integration requirements and implement solutionsWork with product management, engineering and support teams to develop integration roadmaps and define technical specificationsEnsure all integrations follow security best practices and compliance requirementsStay current with emerging integration technologies and recommend improvements to our integration frameworkRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience3+ years of experience developing web-based integrations for SaaS applicationsStrong proficiency in web development technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and backend languages (Node.js, Python, or Java)Extensive experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and modern API authentication methods (OAuth 2.0, JWT)Experience implementing webhooks and event-driven architecturesKnowledge of cloud systems integration (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)Familiarity with data exchange protocols (JSON, XML, SOAP)Understanding of database concepts and integration patternsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with enterprise integration patterns and middleware solutionsKnowledge of ETL processes and data transformation techniquesExperience with CRM, ERP, or marketing automation platform integrationsFamiliarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Understanding of microservices architectureExperience with API management platformsKnowledge of security compliance requirements for data integrationsWork ScheduleThis role requires working in alignment with US Eastern Time (EST) business hours.
