We are hiring on behalf of a valued client in the transportation industry, and this role will play a critical part in their supply chain operations.About the Role: As an After-Hours Logistics Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless movement of freight for our clients in the transportation sector. You’ll be the first line of support during non-business hours, providing real-time updates, managing driver communications, and proactively addressing potential service gaps. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, making you a vital part of our team.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and trace shipments from origin to destination, ensuring on-time delivery and proactive problem resolution.Provide real-time updates on load status, delays, and service issues through TMS, email, and customer portals.Manage appointment scheduling at customer facilities as needed to optimize delivery efficiency.Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and customer teams to resolve issues promptly and professionally.Support after-hours operations, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.Analyze and interpret data to provide logistics insights and support efficient, cost-effective decision-making.Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements, including electronic data interchange processes.Participate in on-call duties as needed to maintain service continuity.Proactively identify potential service gaps and provide early alerts to prevent service failures.What We’re Looking For:2+ years of transportation or logistics experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) with a professional and solutions-oriented mindset.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and customer portals is a plus.Results-oriented with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.Why Join Loop Services?Be part of a growing, innovative team that values proactive problem-solving.Gain experience in a high-impact role with growth opportunities.Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact customer satisfaction.
