Sikich is seeking a Transaction Advisory Services Senior Associate with 4+ years of experience in transaction advisory services. Previous experience in financial due diligence and related areas for the US market is preferred. Our comprehensive skillsets, obtained over decades of experience as entrepreneurs, business owners and industry innovators, allow us to provide insights and transformative strategies to help strengthen every dimension of our clients’ businesses.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform (as part of a team) financial due diligence for clients acquiring businessesIdentify and analyze business and financial risks and opportunities while advising both strategic and private equity buyers & sellers on alternative strategies for acquisition, disposition, and restructuring of businessesAggregate, refine, and analyze target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings, and working capital considerationsWork on multiple projects of varying size and complexityParticipate in client meetings while interacting with top-level management to obtain pertinent information for financial analysisRequirements for Successful CandidateCA or CPA(US) certifications with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CFA(US) Level I or II would be an added advantage4+ years of experience in transaction advisory services, preferably involving financial due diligenceExceptional professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with clients including C-level executives Strong current knowledge of U.S. GAAP, familiarity of the M&A process and marketStrong project management capabilitiesAbility to flourish and be effective in fast-paced settingsFlexibility to work as a team member and as a single contributorProficiency in Microsoft Suite
