Job Title :- Payroll Team Lead Location : Gurugram India Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and manage the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to team members to foster growth and accountability.Process and verify timesheets and self-bill reports with a high degree of accuracy.Create and maintain employee master records in the payroll software, ensuring data integrity.Generate detailed error reports and collaborate with consultants to resolve timesheet discrepancies.Compile and maintain periodic payroll reports for audits and management review.Monitor and manage employee advances, deductions.Respond to payroll-related inquiries from internal staff and provide clarification on nurse pay matters.Ensure all payroll activities comply with company policies and UK legislation.Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives and resolve payroll-related issues.Required SkillsMinimum of 1 year of experience in a team leadership or supervisory role.Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with UK payroll.Strong numerical and analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).Highly organized with a strong process-oriented mindset.Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of total experience in payroll management.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality service to both internal teams and external clients.Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
