Location: Dahej, Gujarat Department: Manufacturing / Production Experience: 18–25 years Function: Plant Operations | Production Management | Safety & Compliance | Continuous ImprovementAbout the Role:We are looking for a high-caliber Associate Vice President – Production to lead end-to-end production operations at a large-scale, multi-product chemical manufacturing facility. The role is pivotal in driving operational efficiency, ensuring safe manufacturing practices, and aligning production goals with business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Production Leadership: Lead and manage daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations in line with quality and quantity targets.People Management: Direct and motivate cross-functional production teams, fostering a performance-oriented and safety-first culture on the shop floor.Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in production processes through Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies to reduce downtime and improve output.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to EHS norms and all statutory regulations governing chemical plant operations.Cost Management: Monitor and control production costs, raw material consumption, energy usage, and operational efficiency.Project Support: Collaborate with project and engineering teams for new plant expansions, technology transfers, and equipment installations.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to achieve integrated plant performance.Reporting: Provide timely and accurate MIS to senior management with actionable insights.Qualifications & Experience:B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering (mandatory); Master’s degree preferred.18–25 years of experience in chemical/process manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior plant leadership role.Proven experience in managing large teams, plant KPIs, and process intensification projects.Strong knowledge of safety systems (like PSM), statutory requirements, and lean manufacturing tools.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Regards,Asha Ranjan
