AI Architect Senior Consultant - Business Consulting – Infosys Global Consulting Practice – AIX - AI Transformation Consulting, India Location: Pune, Bangalore, Noida We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced AI Architect Senior Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge AI solutions for our clients, driving innovation across a diverse range of industries. We encourage those willing to work from the office or client location at least 3 days a week and to travel within or outside India on short notice. We prefer immediate joiners who can join us within 30 days. About the team AI transformation consulting (ATC) practice is part of the Global AIX (AI-First & Experience) practice and is responsible for selling and delivering AI, Analytics advisory services in India, selected regions in Asia Pacific and the Middle East working closely with our global teams in delivering AI, Automation and Data engagements for some of our global clients Being a horizontal unit, we work across sectors – Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Consumer & Retail, Telecom, Services, Utilities, Resources & Energy – and collaborate with the other vertical practices of Infosys Consulting and also with different units of Infosys. The team was formed in Q1, FY22. The current team size is 40 and we aspire to be a 100-member team by FY26. As an AI Architect Senior Consultant, your responsibilities will include the following: Designing AI Systems: Lead the architectural design for AI solutions (including Generative AI and Conversational AI), ensuring scalability, security, compliance, and adherence to Responsible AI (DPDPA) guidelines. Model Deployment: Deploy robust AI/ML models on both Cloud-based and on-premises infrastructures, optimizing performance and efficiency in real-world applications. Decision-Making: Select appropriate AI models, tools, and technologies for implementation. Technical Guidance: Guide the team in identifying and selecting the most optimized solutions for client needs, leveraging your expertise in NLP, LLMs, and Computer Vision. Best Practices & Innovation: Implement AI/ML best practices, including data governance and ethical considerations, while staying updated on advancements to drive innovation. Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, cross-functional teams, IT teams, and leadership to align AI solutions with business goals. Risk & Futureproofing: Address risks related to data privacy, ethics, and compliance, while ensuring AI systems are ready for emerging trends and technologies. Client Engagement: Spend 60% of the time working on client engagements. Providing AI architecture design for client solutions. Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks effectively and meeting deadlines. Practice Contributions: Dedicate 40% of the time to anchoring/driving RFP responses, architecture design for internal solutions, meeting clients, building PoVs/offerings, and coaching team members. To be successful in this role, you must have the following… Experience At least 7 to 8 years of experience in AI architecture design. Experience in deploying AI solutions in large-scale, production-grade environments. Experience working with a leading AI-focused company or a top consulting firm. Skills AI Frameworks: Experience working with one or more AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Apache MXNet, or Microsoft Cognitive Toolkit (CNTK), RAG, and Agentic AI. Architectural Patterns: Familiarity with architectural patterns including Layered Architecture, Microservices Architecture, and Event-driven Architecture. ML Ops/LLM Ops: Experience in ML Ops and/or LLM Ops and on-premise or cloud deployment experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Cloud Expertise: Proven experience with architectural design of AI solutions cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Cost Estimation: Demonstrated ability to estimate sizing and costs for cloud-based AI/ML solutions. Machine Learning and Deep Learning: Proficiency in ML and DL algorithms and frameworks. Programming: Strong coding skills in languages like Python, R, and Java. Data Management: Experience with big data technologies and data integration.
