Position: Consultant – Data Centre DesignLocation: DehradunType: Contractual (1 Year, extendable)Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years in Data Centre DesignPosition SummaryIn this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data centre non-IT infrastructure to support mission-critical operations. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand infrastructure requirements, assess existing facilities, and deliver robust design recommendations aligned with industry standards.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in stakeholder meetings to understand project and infrastructure requirementsConduct technical assessments of proposed or existing data centre sitesDesign comprehensive data centre non-IT infrastructure solutions including power, cooling, physical layout, and securityEnsure designs are aligned with national/international standards and best practicesPrepare detailed documentation and reports to support implementation and decision-makingCollaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, electrical, HVAC, civil, etc.) for seamless integrationQualificationsB.E./ B.Tech./ M.Tech./ MCA in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in data centre infrastructure designMust have designed at least one Data Centre Non-IT Infrastructure projectProficiency in infrastructure planning and documentation toolsStrong understanding of power systems, cooling, physical security, and disaster recovery layoutCertifications (Any two required)CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional)CDCE (Certified Data Centre Expert)ATD (Accredited Tier Designer)SkillsStrong analytical and technical design capabilitiesExcellent documentation and presentation skillsAbility to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teamsGood communication and coordination abilities
