Role & responsibilities :Prepare detailed land development drawings, including boundary surveys, site plans, and topographic maps, adhering to US standards and practices.Process and integrate point cloud data into CAD software to create accurate 2D/3D models and topographic drawings.Utilize Autodesk Civil 3D for drafting tasks, such as grading, drainage design, and alignment layouts.Work with Trimble Business Center for point cloud cleanup, surface creation, and volume calculations.Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure deliverables meet client requirements and project deadlines.Manage and maintain a library of drafting templates, layers, and styles for consistency across projects.Review and QC drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.Stay updated with the latest tools, technologies, and trends in land development drafting and point cloud processing.Preferred candidate profile :Education: Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related field, or equivalent work experience.Experience:6 months to 2 years of experience in drafting for land development projects in the US.Hands-on experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center is a must.Proficiency in processing point clouds for generating accurate deliverables.Skills:Strong understanding of land development concepts and drafting standards in the US.Ability to work with survey data, point clouds, and geospatial datasets.Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality deliverables.Strong organizational and time management skills.Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
