Responsibilities:Location: Pan India.Design digital strategies to automate the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) process and enable companies to conduct LCAs on hundreds or thousands of products and communicate the results and recommendations to clients and stakeholders. Take part in client projects in various sectors, analyzing environmental footprints of products, processes within the factory and in the upstream/downstream supply chain. Conduct LCA studies using data analytics tools and software. Support the development of ecodesign strategies and sustainable procurement practices, continuously developing your knowledge and skills in the field of LCA and sustainable manufacturing. Set up data management and strategy, KPI development and performance measurement processes to improve sustainability metrics of products and sustainability reporting according to new requirements like CSRD, the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation or the Green Claims Directive, Digital Product Passport etc. Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and in deploying and managing LCA software systems and other emission factor tools. Creating tools and calculators to collect, handle, and report client carbon footprints, sustainability metrics, and industry data and statistics. Help business development and sales teams in formulating the value propositions in sustainable operations and transformations. Share knowledge with internal technology and delivery teams on relevant sustainability and ESG regulations, creating reusable content and offers thought leadership. Monitoring external trends, upcoming regulations, evolving standards & methodologies in LCA & sustainability and adapting them appropriately in the delivery processes. Qualifications: Master’s degree in engineering subject with a sustainability component (e.g. sustainability, environmental engineering, environmental science etc.). Hands-on experience with LCA in the manufacturing sector and product companies and willingness to get on a steep learning curve in the LCA skills. Familiarity with LCA standards such as ISO 14040, Product Environmental Footprint (PEF), ISO 14064, ISO 14067 etc. 8+ years of experience in environmental/sustainability consulting, carbon accounting, product carbon footprint; and performing, managing, interpreting, and communicating on LCA assessments. Possess strong technical knowledge of LCA frameworks and methodology (Comparative LCAs, allocation procedures, cut-off criteria, uncertainty analysis, data quality requirements, impact categories, and completeness, consistency, and sensitivity checks) In-depth knowledge and experience of working with SimaPro LCA Software/SimaPro Online Platform is desirable. Familiarity with digital solutions and technologies related to LCA, software solutions such as Gabi, OpenLCA, etc. would be an advantage. Experience of automating the LCA data collection and calculation process using above software solutions. Passion for sustainability and understanding of the principles of ecodesign and sustainable procurement. Showcase strong analytical skills and experience with data analytics tools and software. Keen interest in digital technology and its potential to measure environmental impact.
