Greetings from UPES !!! We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Professor to join our Department of HSE and Civil Engineering under the School of Advanced Engineering. The candidate should have expertise in Fire Safety, Industrial Safety, BBS, Risk Assessment, and Ergonomics for Fire & Safety / HSE Engineering for Civil Engineering and will be responsible for teaching, and research. The details are mentioned below. Key Responsibilities:- Teaching: Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Design and deliver lectures, assignments, and laboratory sessions. Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations. Mentor and advise students on academic and career goals. Research: Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences. Seek external funding through grant proposals to support research activities. Collaborate with industry and other academic institutions on research projects. Service: Participate in departmental, college, and university committees. Contribute to curriculum development and program accreditation activities. Engage in outreach activities to promote the department and its programs. Provide professional service to academic and industry communities. Other Duties: Stay updated with the latest advancements in their areas. Participate in professional development activities. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Phd: Health, Fire, and Safety, Fire Engineering/Fire Safety Engineering. UG in Fire Engineering/Fire Safety Engineering (Preferred), Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, PG in Industrial Safety/ Health Safety and Environment and PhD in Safety or related field Interested candidates, pls share their CVs. at
