Job Scope: The Assistant Manager – Human Resources will support the HR department across key areas such as Payroll , Administration , and Facility Management . This role involves secretarial, clerical, and administrative support, along with assistance in translation (verbal and written). The role requires high levels of efficiency , confidentiality , initiative , and the ability to manage daily operations of the HR function in a professional, courteous, and compliant manner. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment, Selection & Induction Manage current vacancies and handle walk-in/telephonic inquiries. Post job openings and source profiles via Naukri and social platforms. Coordinate interviews and send communications to non-selected candidates. Maintain manpower requisition files and ensure hiring aligns with approved requirements. Conduct reference checks through First Advantage and maintain proper documentation. Coordinate onboarding logistics including system access, induction, and documentation. Schedule and record job and exit interviews. Payroll Management Ensure accurate and timely salary disbursement. Validate payroll inputs and process salary/benefits as per policy. Reconcile timesheets, update leave accruals, and manage leave records. Maintain payroll records and support monthly audits. Generate turnover and department-wise reports. HR Administration Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS (from joining to exit). Track internal transfers, separations, and monthly HR metrics. Address service statement requests and employee inquiries. Handle termination formalities in compliance with labor regulations. Submit insurance details for new/joining employees and coordinate claims. Performance Management Assist with performance appraisals and talent review processes. Maintain career development records, succession planning, and bench strength data. General Administration Improve HR systems and internal workflows. Handle HR documentation, filing, and correspondence. Manage employee facilities (dining, lockers, accommodation, etc.). Monitor grooming and uniform compliance. Coordinate communications related to birthdays and bonafide letters. Maintain locker inventory and support ad hoc HR tasks as needed. Qualification Standards Education: Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management preferred; Bachelor’s degree accepted. Experience: 8–10 years of experience in core HR functions. Additional Skills: Fluent in English (spoken and written). Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Comfortable interacting across all levels of the organization. Working knowledge of HRIS platforms.
