We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Team Leader – Admission Counsellors to lead a team of counsellors responsible for enrolling students into our Online Degree Programs . The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of higher education, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in driving high-performance admissions or sales teams. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Management: Supervise, guide, and drive aggressively a team of admission counsellors to meet enrollment targets. Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions. Monitor daily activities, call performance, and CRM usage to ensure productivity. Admissions & Counseling: Oversee the end-to-end admission counselling process, from lead generation to final enrolment. Ensure accurate and effective communication of program features, benefits, and admission criteria to prospective students. Handle escalated queries and provide resolutions to complex admissions related concerns. Target Achievement: Ensure the achievement of Daily/Weekly/Monthly/ admission targets which is set for the team Develop strategies and implement them to achieve targets. Analyze and report on team performance, conversion ratios, and lead quality. Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with the Marketing team to align lead generation efforts with team capacity, and with the Operations team to close the eligibility matters of the students. Coordinate with concerned teams to ensure a smooth onboarding and student experience. Process Improvement: Identify gaps in the counselling process and propose solutions to enhance efficiency. Implement best practices in sales counselling, communication, and follow-ups. Required Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any discipline Experience: Minimum 4–6 years of experience in sales/admissions with at least 2 years in a team managing role Proven experience in managing a team in education sales /online or distance education/insurance sales/telesales will be preferred Key Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership, people management, and motivational skills Excellent verbal and written communication Target-oriented with a strategic mindset Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights Customer-centric approach with strong problem-solving abilities Proficient in using CRM tools, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Tele-counselling, and data-driven performance management Salary & Remuneration: Commensurate with experience and not a constraint for the right candidate Why Join Uttaranchal University?
