Job Summary:We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead Operations for our Print-Based RFID Manufacturing Division. The Head of Operations will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end production, supply chain, quality, and process excellence across the RFID business unit. This role involves translating business goals into operational execution, ensuring that production output, cost efficiency, quality standards, and customer commitments are consistently met.This position requires hands-on experience in managing high-volume, precision-driven manufacturing operations, preferably in RFID labels, smart cards, or security printing environments.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Strategy & Execution:- Drive the overall operational roadmap for the print-based RFID production unit, aligned with strategic business objectives. - Lead planning, resource allocation, and capacity management to meet market demand and delivery timelines. - Implement lean manufacturing practices, Six Sigma methodologies, and automation initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs. - Ensure compliance with all industry standards, security protocols, and customer specifications for RFID products.Manufacturing & Quality Control:- Oversee all production activities, including RFID tag printing, encoding, personalization, and final packaging. - Maintain high-quality standards through effective quality control processes and continuous improvement. - Collaborate closely with R&D and engineering teams to introduce new product lines and scalable manufacturing techniques.Supply Chain & Vendor Management:- Manage procurement, inventory control, vendor relationships, and logistics to ensure seamless operations. - Build resilient supply chains that support just-in-time production without compromising on quality or compliance. - Ensure effective material traceability and support audits as required by customers or regulatory authorities.Team Leadership:- Lead a cross-functional team of production supervisors, quality engineers, planners, and technicians. - Foster a high-performance work environment focused on safety, efficiency, and ownership. - Identify talent gaps, build training programs, and develop internal capabilities for sustainable operations.Cost & Compliance Management:- Manage the division’s operational budget with a focus on cost efficiency, waste reduction, and profitability. - Ensure all operational activities comply with environmental, legal, and safety standards.Candidate Profile:- Engineering degree (preferably in Mechanical, Electronics, or Printing Technology); MBA is a plus. - 10–15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 7–8 years in RFID or smart card production. - Proven experience in high-security or regulated production environments. - Strong understanding of RFID manufacturing processes – including inlay handling, antenna printing, chip encoding, and substrate compatibility. - Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
