About the RoleWe’re looking for a sharp, strategic, and culturally-attuned Copywriter to join ourPitching & Special Projects team— someone who knows how to turn a single spark of insight into an entire campaign universe. If you love cracking fresh formats, pitching original ideas, and shaping work that spans from big-picture thinking to detailed execution, this role’s for you.This isn’t just about writing ads. It’s about owning narratives across B2B, B2C and D2C.What You’ll DoBuild Campaigns, End to End • Own the campaign journey from thought to thread — craft the central proposition, define the big idea, and roll it out across mediums • Write mainline scripts, influencer briefs, OOH lines, digital films, carousel posts, and Reels • Collaborate with design and strategy to bring each touchpoint to life with nuance and cohesion • Plan for activations, IPs, and on-ground extensions that make your ideas live beyond the screenInsight-Driven Thinking • Find the human truth or cultural tension at the heart of a brief • Flip conventional category narratives to make campaigns feel fresh, relevant, and smart • Layer in depth where it matters — whether it’s a deep-dive OOH line or a cheeky YouTube title✍️ Writing Across Touch-points • Write pitch decks, AV scripts, product storyboards, and voiceovers • Switch easily between playful, emotional, clever, and concise — whatever the idea demands • Come up with titles, content formats, and video hooks that drive engagement organicallyCan Think Visually, Not Just Verbally • You don’t just write a line — you see the post, the KV, the carousel in your head. • Can describe how a Reel should open, what the main visual should be. • Can work closely with designers to translate copy into thumb-stopping visuals. • Know when to let the image do the talking — and when a strong headline needs to lead. • Whether it’s a social static, OOH, or pitch deck mock — you can guide how it should look, not just what it should say.Content & IP Development • Conceptualise unique content formats and digital IPs from scratch • Write for influencer-led content, reels, vox pops, and interactive formats • Create naming systems, taglines, and campaign structures for tentpole momentsPitch & Strategy Support • Help build pitch narratives with clarity and creative flair • Turn strategy notes into actionable creative ideas • Collaborate on monthly strategy notes and help drive proactive campaign thinkingWho You Are • A concept-first creative who also knows how to write beautifully • Obsessed with ads, culture, social behaviour, and how brands show up in everyday life • Someone who thrives in chaos but delivers with clarity • A team player who’s confident in your gut but open to feedback • Equally excited about writing a big TVC script and nailing the copy on a memeBonus If You • Have worked on multi-format campaigns before (especially ones involving OOH + social + influencers) • Love building IPs from the ground up • Can write in Hindi and Hinglish as fluidly as in English • Think in decks and structure even when you’re dreamingFYI (About Us)Buffalo Soldiers is a growth stage start-up, an integrated creative agency with a digital heart.
