Location:Pune (Hybrid)Exp Range:5+YearsWe are looking for an experienced and motivated IoT Engineer with a balance of technical depth, and interpersonal skills responsible for IoT solutions' vision, strategy, and end-to-end development. This critical individual technical role will work with other engineering and product managers to drive the overall connectivity development | design and technical roadmap.Responsibilities: The IoT engineer understands business needs and translates them into highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud design. Collaborate with IoT team leaders, product managers, program/project managers, and business leaders to define IoT technical strategy and roadmap and communicate that vision to key stakeholders. Document & review business functional/non-functional requirements and propose IoT solution architectures with detailed specifications. Define and drive adoption of development frameworks, patterns & standards. Build proficiency with a portfolio of Fluidra Connect systems, technologies, services, and data standards to improve them. You will also be able to dive technically to identify opportunities and risks with the technical decisions. The IoT engineer must identify and document the IoT target state for the organization and ensure that the target architecture will address current and future business requirements. Conduct technical assessments, proofs of concepts development for IoT solutions. Developing and standardizing the procedure for making IoT solutions and guiding the evolution and improvement of that process is vital. You will create and share best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures for various use cases (i.e, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Serverless and Container based architectures, Security).Required Skills and Qualifications: Mandatory Skills: •AWS Services:2+ years of proven experience AWS cloud backend developmentLambda, API Gateway , 1+ years of Professional experience Developing solutions built on AWS cloud platform (IoT Core, Kinesis, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFront, CDK, Device Shadow) •Unit Testing:Experience with Jest framework, Mocha •Architecture:Strong understanding of Clean Architecture •Database:DynamoDB •Programming Languages:Node.js, TypeScript •Deployment Tools:YAML, AWS CDKGood to Have: • Experience or exposure to IoT Experience working in large organizations, implementing, and managing complex distributed IT applications and large-scale IoT solutions. Solid experience in IoT-related security standard processes in both edge and cloud regarding authentication, authorization, data protection and identity/access management. Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise environment. AWS CDK with Iaac exposure will be plus Experience with a formal software development methodology such as Agile is required. Knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) Experience working with geographically distributed teams is required. Experience driving architecture initiatives by influencing different organizations. Experience in any of these industries: Manufacturing or Industrials customers. Experience in one or more specific IoT / embedded / M2M industries (i.e., home automation, asset tracking, smart utilities, etc.). Awareness of software development tools and methodologies Presentation skills with high comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers. Ability to communicate at all levels, orchestrate resources and work effectively across internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels.
