Title:Associate Professor- Academic Incharge Location:Hinjawdi Pune Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Associate Professor-Academic Inchargeto lead our academic initiatives while also contributing to teaching and research. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background, industry experience, and a passion for developing future Banking and Management professionals.Key Responsibilities: 1. Academic Administration · Oversee curriculum planning, implementation, and continuous improvement in line with AICTE guidelines and industry trends. · Ensure effective delivery of academic programs through faculty mentoring and training. · Monitor student performance and provide strategic interventions to enhance learning outcomes. · Develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies and technology-driven learning approaches. · Organize workshops, guest lectures, and faculty development programs to enhance teaching quality. · Foster a culture of academic excellence and continuous learning. · Effective Coordination with Visiting Faculty. 2. Research and Development · Promote a research-oriented environment by encouraging faculty and students to undertake research projects. · Facilitate collaboration with industry, government agencies, and other institutions for research funding and joint projects. · Oversee the establishment of research centres, laboratories, and innovation hubs. · Guide faculty and students in publishing research papers, patents, and securing grants. · Organize research conferences, seminars, and workshops to enhance the institution’s research profile. 3. Examination & Evaluation · Contributing to planning, execution, and monitoring of examinations and assessments. To work in close coordination with the Controller of Exam for / to · Ensure transparency, fairness, and adherence to examination regulations and policies. · Implement effective evaluation systems, including internal and external assessments. · Oversee question paper setting, moderation, and grading procedures. · Address grievances related to examinations and ensure smooth operations. 4. Accreditation & Compliance (NBA/NAAC) · Lead the preparation and submission of accreditation applications, rankings and compliance reports. · Ensure adherence to quality assurance parameters as per NBA/NAAC guidelines. · Coordinate self-assessment reports, documentation, and institutional audits. · Organize training and workshops for faculty and staff on accreditation requirements. · Develop action plans for continuous improvement and monitor their implementation. As a Professor: · Teach specialized courses in Banking, Finance, or Management. · Deliver engaging and practical lessons, integrating industry insights. · Mentor students on academic and career-related matters. · Supervise student projects and dissertations. Qualifications & Experience: · Ph.D. from a recognized university. · MBA/PGDM in Finance with good academic credentials. · Strong understanding of NBA/NAAC accreditation processes. · Proven track record in research, faculty development, and academic administration. · Experience in curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment strategies. · Industry Exposure: Prior experience in the banking, financial services, or corporate management sector is preferred. · Excellent communication, mentorship, and problem-solving abilities. · Research acumen with a proven track record of publications (preferred).
