Job Description

The Head of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and brand positioning for the data centre. This role combines deep knowledge of data centre services (colocation, cloud connectivity, managed services, etc.) with strong leadership and commercial acumen to lead both sales and marketing teams effectively.Responsibilities 1) Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives. Identify new market opportunities and design go-to-market plans for data centre services. Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to guide service innovation and investment decisions. 2) Sales Management: Lead and manage the sales team to achieve revenue and growth targets. Establish and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, hyperscalers, telcos, system integrators, and other partners. Oversee the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure. 3) Marketing Oversight: Drive brand awareness, positioning, and demand generation across digital and traditional marketing channels. Oversee marketing campaigns, content strategy, events, and public relations. Manage marketing analytics to track ROI and improve campaign effectiveness. 4) Partnership & Channel Development: Build strategic alliances and channel partner ecosystems to expand market reach. Negotiate and manage key accounts, SLAs, and partnership agreements. 5) Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage high-performing sales and marketing teams. Foster a collaborative, performance-driven culture.Qualifications 1) Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred). 2) 10+ years of experience in B2B sales and marketing, preferably in the data centre, telecom, or IT infrastructure sector. 3) Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving marketing ROI. 4) Strong understanding of data centre services, including colocation, cloud connectivity, interconnection, and managed services. 5) Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
