Follow us for more jobs Job Description: Looking for a person having 08 -12 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation Equipment and Services procurement. Candidate should have worked with EPC companies and must have knowledge of best industry practices and latest trends. Educational Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech – Electrical/Electrical and Instrumentation. Stakeholder Support Work closely with stakeholders & team to ensure supply of goods and services meet needs with the best possible value and consistency. Proactively communicate with stakeholders related to their required inputs for order creation and management. Procurement Activities: Review of PR documents, floating RFQs to relevant vendors, arrange technical evaluation of submitted offers from Engineering department, preparation of commercial comparative, negotiations, PO and WO placement. Price reduction through cost analysis and price benchmarking. Post order PO management and delivery follow-up. Vendor development and Management. Champion safety, quality, delivery, and cost with vendors to ensure requirements are met on a consistent basis. Partner with vendors to share new and variation orders, as well as track status to delivery and PO closure. Work with internal stakeholders to influence change and escalate and resolve issues that arise. Maintain up-to-date status, records, documentation, MIS, and cost reduction data related to current and completed purchase orders. Maintain the POs until goods are received or services are confirmed by internal client, following up payments to the Vendor and resolving any issues in Procure to Pay end to end process.Deliver process improvement to remove or streamline the processes associated with the role, thus reducing or eliminating delay and administrative obstacles. Run vendor qualification process, successfully onboard new vendors and maintaining Vendor’s data in the systems. Visit to vendor’s location from time to time for evaluation and audit. Client visits as and when required. Ensure process adherence to existing S.O.P.Key Skills Required:08 -12 years of experience required in sourcing and procurement in EPC industry. Experience in procurement of Electrical & Instrumentation equipment like panels, cables, motors, transformers, field instruments, PLC, SCADA, Conductors, transmission and distribution equipment, knowledge of substation equipment procurement, substation structures, HVAC, Electrical Poles, Railway project equipment etc. Candidate should be self-directed, able to prioritize/manage a high volume of tasks and able to work in a high-pressure environment. Very strong interpersonal skills with ability to build credibility with stakeholders, influence change. Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with and lead internal and external stakeholders to comply with sourcing and procurement policies and procedures. Ability to develop and maintain relationship with Vendors. Vendor contracting experience. Understanding of accounts payable processes (invoice processing). Excellent written and verbal communications skills. High level of attention to detail. High level of integrity and transparency. Knowledge of ERP (preferably, MS Dynamics) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
