It serves as a hub for elite athlete development and is committed to advancing India's sporting potential through a focused, athlete-first approach.About the Program The Odisha IIS JSW Swimming Program is a Public-Private Partnership between JSW Group and the Department of Sports and Youth Services, Government of Odisha. Our mission is to develop and promote swimming across Odisha by providing a high-performance training environment that nurtures young talent into future national and international competitors.Job Summary We are seeking dynamic and organized Area Coordinators to manage our grassroots swimming centers across Odisha. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, engage with local communities and schools, promote the program actively, and ensure a high standard of service delivery. You will act as the crucial link between IIS management and grassroots activities in your designated area.Key Responsibilities:1. Administrative Tasks Manage daily staff and swimmer attendance records. Oversee maintenance checklists and ensure timely execution. Identify infrastructure issues and escalate for resolution. Plan and lead talent identification drives at the district level. Engage with swimmers who exit the program, understand their concerns, and implement strategies for re-engagement.2. Liaison and Marketing Build and maintain relationships with District Sports Officers, district administration, school principals, and Physical Education Teachers (PETs). Actively promote the program to maximize participation. Plan and execute school-level league competitions and events. Ensure maintenance issues are reported and addressed promptly.3. Reporting and Data Management Prepare assessment reports for coaches and swimmers. Maintain accurate data on swimmer development and coach performance. Submit timely reports to IIS management regarding center operations and progression.4. Promotion and Outreach Develop and implement localized marketing strategies to enhance program visibility. Organize events, demos, trials, and engagement activities to attract new participants. Collaborate with schools, local influencers, and community groups to build awareness. Conduct outreach visits to schools, parks, gyms, and community venues for program promotion.5. Other Responsibilities Execute additional tasks as assigned by IIS management. Regularly travel across assigned districts to monitor center operations and stakeholder engagement.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in B.Tech, MBA, or Sports Management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team structure. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and general computer applications. Ability to speak English, Hindi, and Odia (preferred).
