We are seeking an experiencedRegional Sales Managerto drive sales growth for ourRecon traffic surveillance and analytics platformin theNorth Indiaregion. This role will focus on building strategic relationships withsystem integrators ,government agencies , and key stakeholders within thetransportation infrastructure sector . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record inB2B/B2G technical solution sales , particularly withinsmart city ,surveillance , orinfrastructure technologydomains.Key Responsibilities Business Development Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet revenue targets forRecon’s traffic surveillance and analyticssolutions. Build and maintain strong relationships withsystem integratorsinvolved in government tenders (NHAI, state highway authorities, municipal corporations). Identify and qualify new opportunities acrosshighway and urban traffic managementsegments in North India. Stay updated on upcoming infrastructure projects and government tenders to position Recon early in the procurement lifecycle. Create compelling value propositions tailored to deployment scenarios such asnational highways ,urban intersections , andcommercial zones . Sales Process Management Prepare and present comprehensive technical and commercial proposals aligned with client needs. Negotiate contracts and successfully close deals with system integrators and direct customers. Collaborate withpre-salesandtechnicalteams to craft customized solution architectures. Maintain up-to-date sales forecasts and pipelines using the CRM system. Achieve definedquarterly and annual sales targetsfor the North India territory. Market Intelligence & Strategy Track regional and national developments inhighway infrastructure ,urban mobility , andsmart cities . Monitor competitor activity and stay informed of evolving market dynamics. Provide market insights to theproduct teamfor roadmap planning and feature enhancements. Develop territory-specific go-to-market strategies to capitalize on regional opportunities. Customer Relationship Management Act as theprimary point of contactfor key accounts in the region. Conduct regular business reviews to maintain customer satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities. Coordinate with deployment and support teams to ensure seamless project execution. Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers atgovernment bodies ,transport departments , andsystem integrators . Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree inEngineering ,Computer Science ,Electronics , or a related technical field ( MBA preferred ). 7–10 years ofB2B/B2G salesexperience, with at least 3 years ingovernment/infrastructure technology solutions . Demonstrated success in sellingcomplex technical solutionsto system integrators or public-sector clients. Experience withsurveillance systems ,traffic management ,IoT , orsmart city technologies . Understanding ofgovernment procurement processes , including tendering and vendor registration. Familiarity with theNorth Indian transportation infrastructureecosystem is essential. Experience managingchannel partnershipsand integrator relationships. Skills & Competencies Strong technical aptitude to communicate Recon's strengths intraffic monitoring ,analytics , andenforcement . Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage bothtechnical and non-technicalstakeholders. Consultative selling approach with the ability to crafttailored solutionsbased on client pain points. Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness to structure effective deals. Self-driven and able to work independently in afast-paced, high-growthenvironment. Effective project management skills for handling long sales cycles with multiple touchpoints. Willingness totravel extensivelywithin the region (approx.50-60% travelexpected).
