The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gemology and experience in grading gemstones and diamond jewelry. This role involves detailed evaluation and quality checks to ensure all pieces meet industry standards for certification and authenticity.Key ResponsibilitiesGrade and assess diamonds and gemstones based on the 4Cs (Cut, Clarity, Color, Carat) and other key quality indicators.Prepare and maintain accurate grading reports and documentation for certification.Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure consistent grading standards and procedures.Participate in mobile lab visits and conduct on-site assessments when required.Offer insights and suggestions for quality improvement based on evaluations.Keep abreast of the latest grading techniques and industry standards.RequirementsCertified in Gemology from a recognized institute.Minimum 3 years of experience in gemstone/diamond grading preferred; freshers with certification may also apply.Excellent eye for detail and precision in analysis.Strong understanding of diamond and gemstone evaluation standards.Effective communication skills to document and explain grading findings.
