Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement. Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for UI and API layers. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to define and implement test strategies throughout the SDLC. Perform exploratory, manual, and regression testing as needed. Own the quality gates for product releases and provide sign-off. Analyze test results, debug issues, and track defects to resolution. Ensure test coverage for both functional and non-functional requirements, including performance and scalability. Required Skills & Experience: 6–10 years of experience in Software QA with a balance of manual and automation testing. Hands-on experience with API Testing using: Karate Framework Postman & Newman CLI Proficiency in UI Automation Testing using Playwright. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using CI/CD pipelines. Solid understanding of software testing principles, design patterns, and testing methodologies. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Nice to Have: Experience in performance testing and monitoring tools. Proven domain expertise in Telecommunications – knowledge of cellular connectivity, roaming, or related infrastructure is a must. Familiarity with containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Prior experience leading a QA team in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
