The role of a Solar Project Assistant Manager involves supporting the Project Manager in planning, executing, and overseeing solar energy projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Project CoordinationAssist in coordinating all phases of solar project execution, from pre-planning to commissioning.Help schedule tasks and monitor timelines.Track progress and report project status to the Project Manager.2. Documentation & ReportingMaintain project records including contracts, permits, drawings, and reports.Assist in preparing and submitting progress reports, work schedules, and compliance documents.Document meetings, decisions, and key communications.3. Site Supervision & SupportSupport site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and vendors.Help manage site logistics and delivery of materials and equipment.4. Vendor & Contractor LiaisonCommunicate with suppliers and subcontractors regarding timelines, deliverables, and performance.Assist in procurement processes and material tracking.5. Budget & Cost MonitoringHelp monitor project budgets and expenses.Assist in cost tracking, invoice processing, and financial reporting.6. Quality & Safety ComplianceSupport the enforcement of quality control and safety protocols.Help implement corrective actions in response to non-compliance or deviations.7. Stakeholder CommunicationCoordinate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies under the supervision of the Project Manager.Assist in preparing presentations and updates for stakeholders.8.
