Job Title: Project ManagerLocation: India RemoteContract: 6 MonthsKey Result Areas:Lead and influence others including those more senior on best practices related to data engineering including SQL and BI reporting such as Qlik, Power BI.Experience in the core banking domain will be preferred.Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address project-related questions or challenges.Determine and define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for project staff.Research and evaluate hardware/software options and conduct cost/benefit analysis for major purchases.Recruit and train exceptional employees within the technical department.Ability to multi-task across multiple assignments and engagements.Update and maintain production technologies, ensuring proper maintenance and installation.Work with project leadership to assess organizational impediments, measure flow, and develop strategies for continuous improvement.Implement efficient, flexible methodologies with simplified, consistent, and reusable processes, practices, and tools.Play an active role in leading agile teams and guiding project implementation.Inspire adoption of improved processes based on program retrospectives.Manage and lead a team of data engineers and BI developers throughout the project life cycle.Oversee each phase of the development life cycle and ensure objectives are met.Manage customer expectations.Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments.Accountable for project scope, schedule, and resource utilization.Operating Environment, Framework, and Boundaries; Working Relationships:Agile-based development and project execution using tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.Regular collaboration with internal departments, suppliers, technical staff, and leadership.Agile team leadership and cross-functional team management.Project delivery within structured and flexible environments.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:15–20+ years of experience in Project Management.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile projects.Completed at least 20 Agile project cycles.Experience using Agile platforms such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.SQL and database experience preferred.Certified Scrum Master or equivalent qualification.Strong knowledge of Agile tools and practices.Team player with supervisory, coaching, planning, and management skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
