Job Title: Blue Yonder Discrete Solution EngineerLocation: Houston, Texas (Onsite)Duration: 24+ MonthsStart Date: ASAPJoin our growing team as a Blue Yonder WMS Developer, where you’ll play a key role in supporting and enhancing warehouse management operations across multiple facilities. This is a long-term, remote opportunity to work on high-impact projects including a major customer order delivery initiative at a distribution center.What You’ll Do:Provide production support and integration development for Blue Yonder (BY) Discrete WMSTroubleshoot and resolve system issues, perform root cause analysisCollaborate with internal teams and 3rd-party vendors to drive issue resolutionSupport end-to-end warehouse management processes: Inbound, Outbound, and InventoryLead and manage assignments, meetings, and deliverables across global teamsOversee quality of enhancements and changes, working closely with business stakeholdersWhat You Bring:Technical Experience (7-8 years):Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder WMS (Discrete module)Strong skills in MOCA, batch jobs, and scripting (ksh, csh)Programming experience in Perl, VB, or CSolid SQL knowledge (intermediate to advanced)Comfortable navigating and operating in Linux/Unix environmentsUnderstanding of common integration technologies and layersBusiness Knowledge (7-8 years):Solid understanding of supply chain and distribution conceptsDirect experience with warehouse operations such as:Inbound ProcessingOutbound ProcessingInventory ManagementLeadership Skills (5-6 years):Experience leading technical teams and managing cross-functional collaborationStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesProven track record managing vendors and driving timely issue resolutionAbility to develop and maintain productive relationships with remote/global teams
