Job Description

We are seeking a driven and analytical Fundamental Research Analyst to join our Private Client Group (PCG) Research Desk. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in sell-side equity research, with proven experience in the Wealth Management or Broking industry, and demonstrates the ability to analyze businesses across diverse sectors. This is a sector-agnostic role that requires strong financial modeling, valuation skills, and the ability to communicate investment ideas effectively to relationship managers and high-net-worth clients.Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of listed companies across various sectors. Build and maintain detailed financial models and perform valuations using relative valuation, and other methodologies. Prepare investment reports, earnings reviews, sector updates, and thematic research notes tailored for high-net-worth clients. Track macroeconomic indicators, market trends, and corporate developments to support timely and relevant recommendations. Collaborate with RMs, dealers, and investment advisors to provide actionable investment ideas. Participate in investor interactions, company management calls, and industry events for deeper insights. Maintain a strong compliance framework and adhere to regulatory research guidelines. Preparing equity research reports on regular basis like IC, result updates, company updates etc. Preparation of financial modeling for cos under coverage. Make presentation to clients on stocks idea suggested. Provide need based analysis on unassigned stocks Building and updating industry databases. To support existing research functions. Maintain constant coverage of industry-related news, trends, and developments. Disseminate your insight to clients. Conducting primary research from industry sources.Candidate Profile Education: MBA (Finance) / CFA (any level) / Chartered Accountant (CA). Experience: 3–6 years in equity research, preferably sell-side with exposure to HNI/PCG client servicing. Sector Exposure: Open to all sectors (sector agnostic); ability to quickly ramp up on new industries. Strong understanding of financial statements, business models, and valuation techniques. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify complex ideas for non-technical audiences. Proficient in tools such as Excel, Bloomberg, Reuters, and PowerPoint. Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
