Job Description

You may choose to work from home in Mumbai; however, you will be required to frequently travel to the tax office or our Andheri East office for business requirements, meetings, or company/team events, or on short notice as needed.You will be part of the centralized tax team and be responsible for tax operations, managing direct tax, international taxation, transfer pricing and indirect tax compliances for Cactus Communications Group (including its overseas subsidiary entities).Responsibilities- Conduct monthly review of books of India as well as overseas subsidiaries from tax perspective including income tax provisions, deferred tax under Ind-AS, regular review of tax GL’s etc. - Manage direct tax compliances such as, advance tax, corporate tax returns, reconciliations of returns with books for India as well as overseas subsidiaries in Asia, UK and USA. - Independently handle all transfer pricing matters including monthly inter-company invoices in accordance with group’s transfer pricing policies, transfer pricing documentation and inter-company agreements, TP audit, assistance in filing TP return, Master file, transfer pricing assessment etc. - Work closely with the tax Consultant and internal team to close tax audits, statutory audit, tax assessments and appeals for Cactus Group including overseas subsidiaries. - Handle indirect tax compliances including GST return filing, refunds, GST audit, assessments etc. - Lead critical tax projects, manage critical tax issues, handle FEMA and other related regulations wherever needed.Desired skills & experience- Qualified CA with at least 8 to 10 years’ post qualification experience. - Excellent verbal and written English skills including excellent email writing skills, technical drafting skills. - Ability to lead tax operations including managing a team. - Sound technical knowledge and understanding of International taxation, Transfer pricing and Indirect tax. - Prior experience in handling tax compliances of overseas entities (eg, Asia, USA, UK). - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective relationships at all levels within the organization. - Working knowledge of accounting software (eg: Oracle, SAP etc.)Application ProcessBefore applying, please ensure you meet the role requirements listed above and have legal authorization to work in the country where this role is advertised.
