Job Description

Overview: This position leads a regional commercial finance function, partnering closely with client service teams to enhance financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. The role is responsible for managing full client P&Ls, driving forecasting and reporting processes, and contributing to the commercial development of long-term client relationships.Key Responsibilities: Financial & Commercial Management Own and manage the full profit & loss for multiple client accounts. Support in developing profit improvement strategies and driving performance-related actions. Collaborate with operational leaders on annual financial planning, forecasting, and reforecasting activities. Provide financial modelling and analysis to support contract negotiations, amendments, and renewals. Client Reporting & Relationship Support Deliver external reporting on financial performance, trends, KPIs, working capital, risks, and variances. Attend client meetings and present insights on financial health and opportunities. Act as a point of escalation for billing and credit issues with clients. Process & System Oversight Lead process improvement initiatives related to operational and financial systems. Ensure accuracy and consistency between operational workflows and financial reporting systems. Enforce compliance with group-wide financial controls and policies, including VAT and FX management. Stakeholder Partnership Act as a finance business partner to commercial and operational leads. Help non-finance stakeholders interpret financial data and assess implications of business decisions. Contribute to the wider finance team to ensure robust governance and financial control.Candidate Profile: Fully qualified accountant (or equivalent professional certification). Minimum 7 years’ experience in finance, including commercial finance or business partnering roles. Demonstrated experience managing teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders. Strong strategic mindset with attention to execution and process. Excellent communication skills and ability to present to both internal and external stakeholders. Highly self-driven, accountable, and effective under pressure. Industry experience in marketing, retail, or service-based environments is advantageous.
