Using atmospheric molecules as propellant to extend satellite life and reduce fuel dependency.Qualification RequirementsAdvanced degree (MEng, MSc, or PhD) in Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Plasma Science, or related field. Strong background in low-pressure plasma physics and vacuum technology.️ResponsibilitiesDesign, assemble, test, and optimize plasma thrusters and cathodes. Conduct detailed experimental and theoretical research on RF discharge plasma. Use diagnostic tools like Faraday probes and Langmuir probes to analyze plasma performance. Collaborate with propulsion electronics and satellite teams for system integration. Maintain accurate records of experiments, designs, and test results.✅Fundamental RequirementsProven experience in plasma R&D (plasma engines, plasma sources, PVD systems, etc.). Deep understanding of low-pressure plasma physics, vacuum systems, and RF plasma devices (ICP, CCP, Helicon, etc.). Skilled in hands-on design, assembly, testing, and optimization of plasma systems. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Passion for space science and innovation in propulsion technology.Additional / Good-to-Have RequirementsResearch experience, including PhD-level work in plasma/electric propulsion. Expertise in multi-parametric optimization tests. Basic proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoDesk Inventor, NX).
