This position involves collaborating with department heads, managing the recruitment process, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.Responsibilities- Recruitment Strategy & Planning: - Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create effective recruitment strategies. - Develop and implement targeted recruitment plans for various roles within the hotel, from front-line staff to managerial positions. - Utilize various sourcing methods such as job boards, social media platforms, recruitment agencies, and employee referrals.- Job Posting & Candidate Sourcing: - Write and post compelling job descriptions that attract qualified candidates. - Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers. - Utilize networking, campus recruitment, and industry events to expand the candidate pool.- Interviewing & Selection: - Coordinate and schedule interviews for candidates. - Conduct interviews and assist in evaluating candidates' skills, qualifications, and cultural fit for the hotel environment. - Maintain a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.- Onboarding & Training: - Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have a smooth transition into the organization. - Support new employee orientation sessions and ensure all documentation is completed. - Work with HR and Training departments to ensure training programs are aligned with talent development.- Talent Pipeline Development: - Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for key roles in the hotel. - Maintain relationships with candidates even after hiring, ensuring they stay engaged for future opportunities. - Track hiring trends and stay updated on the best recruitment practices in the hospitality industry.- Data Analysis & Reporting: - Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and retention rates. - Provide regular reports to senior management on recruitment progress and challenges. - Ensure compliance with labor laws and industry regulations.- Employer Branding: - Help strengthen the hotel’s employer brand by promoting its values, culture, and employee benefits. - Work with marketing or PR teams to create materials that attract talent, such as testimonials or behind-the-scenes content showcasing the work environment.- Collaboration & Support: - Collaborate with HR and Operations teams to align hiring efforts with the hotel’s overall business goals. - Assist in resolving any employee relations issues related to recruitment and talent acquisition. - Support the management in addressing labor shortages and staff retention challenges.Qualifications- A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, or a related field. - Master’s degree in Human Resources. - Prior experience in recruitment, preferably in the hotel or hospitality sector. - Knowledge of local labor laws and hiring practices.Required Skills- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential to interact with candidates and internal stakeholders. - Recruitment Expertise: Knowledge of recruitment practices, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection techniques. - Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the hotel industry, including the roles and skills needed to provide high-quality guest service. - Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, track applicants, and meet deadlines. - Problem-Solving: Ability to address challenges such as high turnover rates or difficulty filling key positions. - Technology Savvy: Familiarity with HR software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and recruitment tools. - Leadership & Teamwork: Ability to support and guide team members while collaborating across departments.Preferred Skills- Experience in hospitality recruitment. - Proficiency in multiple languages.Pay range and compensation packageCompetitive salary based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.Equal Opportunity StatementThe hotel is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
