Our Client is a leading global provider of advanced networking solutions powering the world’s most critical communication infrastructures.Reporting to the Director of Account Management, as a Consultant Sales, you will be responsible for leading/owning major business accounts and managing the overall business relationship between the client, the sales organization, executive leadership, product marketing, and product management.You will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships that negate competitive infiltration into the account and build customer intimacy and sales execution within all levels of the customer organization, including the ‘C’ level.Your laser focus on execution and sales strategy, combined with your ability to maintain and expand opportunities in existing pipelines, will enable the company to maximize its revenue streams and margins in accordance with business expectations.You will initiate and develop strong customer relationships at all levels, including executives, and hold responsibility for direct sales activities requiring bookings/revenue/margin presentations at all levels of management.You will develop and manage North India Telco accounts to grow revenue for the company at appropriate margin levels.You will work closely with the Account Leader, Pre-sales, Projects, Operations, Global Support, and other cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive strategies to ensure rapid and significant revenue growth both in the short and long term.You will require strong techno-commercial capabilities, account strategy abilities, a large system sales background, and a proven track record in winning deals within complex organizations.You will be highly motivated and possess strong interpersonal skills. You must be a strong team player able to influence stakeholders across multiple functions.You will collaborate with system engineering teams on network design, responses to RFXs, customer presentations, product/feature requirements, and prioritization—supporting both tactical and strategic initiatives—particularly in coordination with the Client Account Leader.The Must-Haves:Regional/major account/global account management experienceExtensive 10+ Years of experience in Routing & Switching, IP/MPLS telecom equipment salesDemonstrated knowledge of the competitive landscape and the regional business marketProven experience with complex sales methodologiesEffective communicator (executive presence, synthesized messaging, and strong written/verbal/visual/video/social skills)Track record of closing multi-million-dollar deals, including positioning solutions, developing comprehensive pricing & commercial strategies, and negotiating contractsProven ability to identify, understand, and manage relationships and decision-making processes across complex organizationsDrive sales activities requiring techno-commercial presentations at all levels of the company and client organizationStrong background in Optical and Data Networking and telecom operator service offerings and requirementsAssets:MBA and/or advanced technical degreeProven understanding of markets, including market segmentation and service providersDemonstrated understanding of regional and/or major account sales with strategic thinking on new business opportunities, along with sound judgmentKeen awareness of market intelligence with respect to competitors in India and globallyExperience with budgetary assessments and forecasting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basisManagement and leadership skills to drive business objectivesAbility to prioritize, organize, and operate in a fast-moving, competitive environmentExcellent analytical, collaborative, and communication skillsHighly motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across various accountsWillingness to travel
