Job Title: Manager – ISB Studios (Mohali Campus) Department: ISB Studios Location: Mohali Reports to position: Head – ISB Studios Band: A3 Job Purpose To serve as the key representative and technical expert for ISB Studios at the Mohali campus. This role involves managing and executing audiovisual recordings including digital learning sessions, podcasts, interviews, and special shoots. The ideal candidate should be a well-rounded generalist with hands-on expertise in cinematography, video editing, and sound, while also effectively managing relationships with internal stakeholders. Job Outline - Independently manage end-to-end recording setups for classroom sessions, studio shoots, podcasts, and faculty interviews. - Operate cameras, lighting setups, and audio recording equipment with minimal supervision. - Edit recorded content for final delivery using standard NLE tools (Adobe Premiere, Da Vinci Resolve, etc.). - Ensure consistent visual and audio quality across content types – learning modules, interviews, and promotional videos. - Serve as the single point of contact for ISB Studios at Mohali campus, coordinating with faculty, staff, programme offices, and visiting guests. - Maintain and manage studio equipment inventory and coordinate with central team for upgrades or replacements. - Troubleshoot on-ground technical issues swiftly and independently during high-stake recordings. - Support the implementation of branded content aesthetics and ensure alignment with ISB visual identity. - Coordinate with post-production teams at Hyderabad for file transfers, edit notes, and versioning. - Provide direction and support to external vendors or freelancers hired for larger-scale shoots when required. Job Specification - Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Film, Media Production, Mass Communication, or related technical field. - 5–7 years of experience in videography, editing, and sound recording in a professional studio, agency, or educational institution. - Proficiency in camera operations (DSLRs, mirrorless, cinema cameras), lighting setups, and sound gear. - Skilled in editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Da Vinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, and basic sound correction tools. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface confidently with senior faculty and administrators. - Ability to plan, schedule, and execute shoots independently with an eye for quality and storytelling. - Familiarity with file formats, storage systems, and content backups. - Ability to manage multiple recordings in a week and meet tight content delivery timelines. - Good presence and flair in handling high-touch interactions with faculty and programme teams. - Basic graphic and motion design knowledge is a bonus. Key Responsibilities: 1) Lead and execute technical recording operations for learning sessions, podcasts, and faculty interviews at the Mohali campus - 40% 2) Coordinate with faculty, programme teams, and other stakeholders to plan and manage shoots as per academic schedules - 25% 3) Perform post-production edits and sound refinements to prepare content for delivery to ISB Online and other platforms. - 20% 4) Serve as the ISB Studios representative at Mohali, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and consistency in production quality - 10% 5) Manage studio equipment inventory, vendor support, and ongoing maintenance/upgradation of technical infrastructure - 5%
