OVERVIEW An opportunity for an engineer with managerial skill, in the Design & Development of Gas Cylinder Valves exported to 65+ countries, with the scope of becoming a technical expert. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering COMPETENCY - Minimum 5 years working experience in mechanical design & development - Managing activities related to the functioning of the Design & Development department - Ensuring compliance of ISO 9001 requirements applicable to Design & Development - Proficient in working with both AutoCAD & Solidworks - Proficient in working with MS Word & MS PowerPoint for creating technical product’s marketing literature etc - Smart to use computer apps like MS Excel in day-to-day activities for efficient working - Proficient in communicating in English (both written & verbal) - Preference will be given to a person having knowledge of technical standards RESPONSIBILITIES - Direct responsibilities include - Managing Draughtsman for their optimum performance - Creating, checking & handling the drawings and technical documents/datasheets - Ensuring compliance with applicable ISO 9001 requirements - Handling & reviewing applicable national/international standards - Controlling and maintaining the marketing materials consisting of technical information about the products e.g. Product Catalogues, Website information, etc - Other administrative activities of the Design & Development department including inter-department coordination - Ultimate/Overall responsibility is to assist HOD-Design & Development in the efficient functioning of the Design & Development which includes - New product development - Continual improvement in processes and review of effectiveness of implemented processes. Perks and Benefits: Range of 50k to 65k per month, based on candidates competency level.
