Job Title: Functional Engineer AIJob Purpose- We are seeking a highly skilled Functional AI Engineer to join our team and lead the development of custom knowledge-based AI models and large language model (LLM) implementations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing, with a focus on building innovative AI solutions that leverage knowledge-based systems and generative AI use cases.Key Activities- Design, develop, and implement knowledge-based AI models and LLMs to solve complex business problems.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions and develop custom use cases.- Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and NLP technologies.- Optimize and fine-tune AI models for performance, accuracy, and scalability.- Develop and maintain documentation for AI models, algorithms, and processes.- Ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies in all implementations.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior AI engineers and data scientists.- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.- Evaluate and integrate third-party AI tools and platforms as needed.- Monitor and analyze the performance of AI models, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.Experience- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.- Proven experience in developing and implementing knowledge-based AI models and LLMs.- Strong programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar AI frameworks.- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and understanding of language models.- Familiarity with data management, data mining, and data visualization techniques.- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Experience in the paints industry or similar sectors is a plus.
