Establishing best in class design and merchandising process across denim product categoryResponsible for selection of fabric, trims, styles and other accessories including packaging for development sampleConsidering the technical guidelines form various departments while selecting the style, fabric and other trims for the better feasibility of product in bulk productionTo Create/visualize an idea and producing a design by hand sketch or using computer-based software.Working with others in the design team, product development and forecasters, to develop products to meet a brief.To keep up to date with emerging and upcoming fashion trends, competition as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours etc.Desired Candidate ProfileMinimum experience of 8-10 years in design of menswear (casual or denim category)A fashion graduate/postgraduate from NIFT.
